Kevin Smith's Smodco, Inc. has partnered with Stitcher to provide ad free versions of Smith's podcasts exclusively through the Stitcher Premium service.
Starting on Friday, April 20th, 2018 all of Kevin Smith's current Smodco podcasts will be available commercial-free at the same time as the free versions that are already available with paid advertising. Under the new partnership the ad supported free versions of the podcasts will become exclusively part of the Stitcher Premium service after six months.
The podcasts that will be available through Stitcher Premium are SModcast, Hollywood Babble-On, Jay & Silent Bob Get Old, Talk Salad and Scrambled Eggs (Frasier Revisited), Edumacation, and Fat Man on Batman.
Stitcher Premium membership offers its members more than just access to the Kevin Smith podcast library. Original content is available, such as Wolverine: The Long Night, the first scripted podcast from Marvel that immerses the listener in a murder investigation that explores a string of mysterious deaths in Burns, Alaska.
Stitcher Premium also offers ad-free archives and bonus episodes of other shows like Comedy Bang Bang and Chris Gethard's Beautiful Anonymous, audio documentaries, and stand-up albums from great comedians like Amy Schumer and Hannibal Buress.
